So, today was Versailles Palace and the gardens. I'm pretty sure this very easily was my favorite day! I actually felt like I was sent back in time. Ok in the gardens at least the palace was a mad house! But, the pictures I post here is only a small sampling of the pictures I got today. There were so many beautiful things here and I really want to get back!! And as much as the husband doesn't like the idea of moving to Europe it's looking more and more interesting to me. One, the Parisians have an awesome workout regimen, it's called walk to the store and lug all your groceries back. Two, I WANT to walk everywhere to enjoy all the beautiful scenery. Three, even though a lot of people smoke here it doesn't phase me I can enjoy the sights without smoking. Finally, the food here is AMAZING!! They only use natural ingredients the fruits taste how fruit should taste, creeps are delicious, the chocolate here, out of this world good!
Ok so back to today, first we walked through the palace. Which only had one restroom, located at the very end!! Not cool! But, all the rooms were ridiculously ornate...
This shot above is of the palace chapel.
This photo was from the hall of mirrors. Which when I seen it in a book did NOT do it justice!!
Next, we went out to the "pond" to eat our lunch. Mind you this pond was big enough for multiple row boats to cruise around. I was really hoping to see Mary Antionettes Halmet. Anyway a few of us stayed late in hopes to capture images of as many fountains as possible before we left. Unfortunately, they shut them off at 1600 so for the last 1.5 hours we seen dry fountains. Which were still beautiful!!
BEAUTIFUL!
