Weekend GREAT adventure, part 2...

You absolutely can't get enough of a great thing!  I returned to the louvre to cover more ground and make more art. There are so many inspiring places to go. But, this is one of the closer places to visit. Both times I got to see things I didn't see before. I was able to whip up a couple drawings I'll post them later. Right now I'm just trying to get caught up!  So I went to see the Islamic art section of the louvre. And seen some AMAZING mosaics!

They also have amazing artifacts, these are just a few!

Next, we headed towards Egyptian artifacts. Which is where I seen my first inspiration for drawing, Horus. I also seen tombs and huge sculptures. All of which amazed me. 

Finally, we returned to my favorite hall! Greek artifacts and sculptures. I have no idea how those sculpture were done. But every time I see one I'm amazed! They seem so lifelike and real!

And so concluded my second visit to the louvre.
