Manic Monday!

So this last Monday was our trip to Giverny. It started out looking grim with a night filled with lightning and hail! I was afraid we weren't going to make it out. However, the storm cleared just as we were heading out and the view there were simply breathtaking!!  It's no wonder Monets paintings are so soothing. The man lived in paradise!  And as much as I wanted to paint in his gardens I was on a mission to see every inch of his gardens!  Which will pay off in the future. For the longest time I have put my Arting on a shelf and allowed it to collect dust. After this adventure I will be doing art as much as I can. I can now appreciate everything I see. The gardens were truly inspiring for me I can see myself returning here.
Our trip out to Giverny included needing to make a trip on a train. The only other time I've ever been on a train was in Chicago. Needless to say the views on the end of that trip was no where near as amazing as Giverny. The scenery heading out was so beautiful there was a lot of peaceful country sides and cottages tucked back in the woods. I will only display a few of the photos from that trip the rest will be available in my albums. I took far too many pictures of scenery and blooming flowers!
