So, today is Sunday here in Paris and there isn't a whole lot open on Sundays so we ventured to the mouffetard open air market. It was absolutely amazing! The fruit all tasted like candies, the veggies were super fresh, and the cheese was absolutely delicious! I also, found a gelato shop, uh I don't have words for how good that was. So, with all this wonderful ness I'm sure you're wondering about today's title. Well we were allowed to break up into smaller groups and wonder around the area. Then at noon we were supposed to walk to the top of the street and meet up at a fountain. Well noon rolls around we all assume we're accounted for and proceed to go back to our apartments to drop off groceries. About 2/3 of the way back, one of the girls asks where is brenden...turns out he never stopped walking. Poor guy was walking for about 3 hours before they found him. With this being said, if you go on a trip make sure you know where to meet back up with everyone.
While our teachers hunted down branden, the rest of us had our first metro adventure! We used two remains to get out to the Eiffel Tower, I have to go back though, since it was Sunday it was jammed packed.
Once we returned my roommate and I ventured out to the jardin de luxemburg. The place was absolutely breathtaking.
