What do you mean there's more than one C line in the metro?!

So, last Sunday Gaby and I decided to make the treck back to Versailles on our own. On our first trip we didn't get to see the queens hamlet and some of the fountains running. So me being the super little navigator that I am decided we should be able to get out there no problems...well, shame on me for being cocky. Turns out there are several C line metros!  We hopped on one that took us as far as possible north in France!  After having my hubby play navigator extraordinaire from the US he was able to get us back on track and headed the right way. (Thank you Ryan for staying up till 0300 helping us!). Once we got there we splurged and rented a golf cart in hopes of catching everything.
So, what does a queen do when she has tons of land and money?? Builds her home town in their "back yard". I use that term loosely because it is by no ordinary means a back yard it's basically a park!  I was amazed at its beauty and the fact they were still maintaining livestock.

Let's not forget it had a groundskeeper house and each "house" had its own garden!  So, amazing!

Next we worked out way to the chapel of love. Which was tucked back in a field.

Finally we went back to the main gardens in time to catch two of the fountains! I took video with my camera but I won't be able to post them till I get back. :-/

So after making it through the gardens we grabbed the train home. However when it came time to go by the Eiffel Tower we learned that our train was officially broken down!!  So we had to wander down the streets until we ran into the next metro.
